Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your PaceStep account and all of the data we hold about you at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (instant)
- Open the PaceStep app.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account & Data.
- Confirm the deletion.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer open the app, email contact@pacestep.com from any address with the subject “Delete my data”. Tell us your name as it appears in the app. We will delete your data and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, gender, age, height, weight and daily step goal.
- All of your recorded daily step history.
- Your device identifier linked to your records.
- Your entry on the leaderboard.
What is kept
Nothing is kept. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Data stored only on your phone, such as language and setup preferences, is removed when you uninstall the app.
